The London Chamber of Commerce and IndustryAsian Business Association (ABA) Diwali reception was held at The Lancaster Hotel with guest of honour and speaker HRH Prince Michael of Kent GCVO on Monday 9 November 2015.

Speaking at the event HRH of Kent GCVO said “The London Chamber of Commerce and the Asian Business Association is a testament to the huge contribution that companies originating in the Asian subcontinent are making to London. I have noticed with some admiration the significance of the historic trading partnerships between the region, especially India and Sri Lanka.”

Vijay Goel, Chairman of the ABA said that Diwali has a special flavour this year due to the visit of the Indian Prime Minister, the first in over ten years. “This is a historic event. It is a testament both to the importance of the UK India relationship and the esteem in which Mr Modi is held. It gives a boost to further develop trade ties between our two countries with the background of the development agenda. This program will be crucial in realising our joint trade potential”.

Over 150 guests attended this exclusive event which provided a great opportunity for the members to network over refreshments.
