The market leader in the spices category, Rajah Spices, asked us to develop an idea that would help establish their leadership position and reflect their values. This exciting challenge presented us with the opportunity to come up with an idea which would meet the client’s objective, be cost effective and have longevity.
Since spices have been an integral part of Indian cooking and traditions, we created a 4 part TV series called Wattan Ki Khushboo, Masalon Ka Safar. This series covered everything regarding spices, from its source to its usage and methods of storage. As part of the series we had 2 anchors travelling across India and UK in search of engaging stories about the people, food, spices, travel and most importantly the traditions and culture of each place.
Wattan Ki Khushboo helped establish Rajah's leadership in the spice category through brand integration and product placement .The series was aired thrice on Zee TV, a bespoke landing page was created for this property and it acted as a positive conversation tool on social media.
