“If an elderly Indian lady who can’t speak English, and who has no money, no home and no education, can acquire an English stately home – well, anything is possible.” – Dadi Janki.

Well, yes, anything is possible – especially when it comes to Dadi Janki who turned 100 this January and is still working full time, meeting world leaders, giving back to society and clocked up 49,418 business air miles this year alone! A perfect inspiration and a mesmerising thought leader.

On the occasion prolific journalist and author Liz Hodgkinson released her book on Dadi Janki named – Dadi Janki: A Century of Service, which encompasses her life story. The book describes how after many years of service with the women-led Brahma Kumaris‘ World Spiritual University in India, she came to London in 1974 to conquer the West. In the book Liz describes her journey through the eyes of many people who have been inspired by her example and dedication.
