Patak’s 3-2-1 Desi Cooking

Patak’s is the top curry paste used in Britain to add that special South Asian flavour to home cooking.

Have a look at the video below:

In this clip, the lovely Anjula Devi demonstrates some of her favourite Indian Dishes: chicken mirch masala next to egg curry and onion pakoras – all made with Patak’s Tikka Masala paste.

This new Youtube channel brings you the best Desi cooking from the UK’s specialist food bloggers. It also gives subscribing commenters a chance to win cinema tickets.

The other two videos we’ve got up feature well-known food writers Mallika Basu andMaunika Gowardhan, preparing fantastic Indian khana dishes with Patak’s Mild and Patak’s Balti curry pastes. Mallika makes some amazing crab cakes with palak paneer and karwari jhinga, while Maunika’s triple flavour stunt is composed of gujarati dal, bhindi do pyaza and spicy roast potatoes.

In other words, Patak’s gives you the blueprint for one scrumptious meal per minute, with a spoonful of paste in each concoction. If you haven’t used it before, you’ve been missing out. Take inspiration from the three films to cook simple Indian courses for your family, as easy as 3-2-1!

We suspect Patak’s products are a big part of the reason why curry and tikka masala have become the national dishes, but don’t take our word for it – ask a foodie friend.

To learn new recipes and possibly win free cinema tickets, all you need to do is visit the 3-2-1 Youtube channel, subscribe and leave a comment under one of the videos. We’ll get in touch with the winner after the draw.
