India Grows at Night – a Liberal Case for a Strong State Book Event

Former CEO of Procter & Gamble India, Gurcharan Das, graced the venue of Deutsche Bank on London Wall on Saturday March 23rd with his presence, for the purpose of speaking on his latest masterwork: India Grows at Night: A Liberal Case for A Strong State.

A well known proponent of Indian culture and economic potential, Mr Das is an alumni of both Harvard Business School and Harvard University. After a fruitful career in multinational business he took up full time writing. He contributed regularly to most agenda-setting global publications, the likes of The Financial Times, Wall Street Journal and Newsweek while authoring a number of important books such as India Unbound and The Difficulty of Being Good and editing many others.

The London event was part of his launch tour for India Grows At Night was organised with the support of the European chapter of the Indian Institute of Management. The main sponsor was State Bank of India.
