For NRIs and PIOs, it is an opportune moment for owning a home back in their home country. India Homes Fair, a property event exclusively for assisting customers looking to buy a property can choose from the latest projects displayed by 35 renowned and well-reputed developers from India.

Talking about the exhibition, Mr Agrawal said: “There are over 1.5 million Indians in the UK, contributing to the UK economy and building valuable trade and investment links between both countries. Britain and India are tied by history, and increasingly by our economic connections. Through events such as the HDFC India Homes Fair I welcome the chance to further these links, which contribute to growth in both of our countries.”

HDFC Ltd has enjoyed a strong presence in United Kingdom for the last 10 years through its London branch. Since 2008 HDFC has organised eight extremely successful property exhibitions addressing the real estate needs of London’s NRI and PIO segment.

At HDFC’s ‘India Homes Fair’, over 150 projects from Bengaluru, Chennai, Gujarat, Goa, Hyderabad, Kerala, Mumbai, National Capital Region, Pune, Punjab, Kolkata, etc. will be on display, with varying options like flats, villas, plots, etc. worth ₹35 lakhs onwards and customers can avail of exclusive offers and value-added benefits during the exhibition.

Talking about the event Mr Keki Mistry, Vice Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of HDFC said: “Every year HDFC’s India Homes Fair gives NRIs and PIOs the opportunity to buy a home in India through a trusted and reliable source. Year on year we have been successful in our endeavour and this year is a special occasion as it marks our 10th anniversary of opening our base in the UK.

“The Indian real estate market has reached a level of maturity and it is the right time to invest in the market. With the development of Smart Cities – cities such as Pune, Coimbatore, Ahmedabad and Cochin have become equally viable investment options along with metros such as Mumbai and Delhi.”

Speaking at the occasion Ms Renu Sud Karnad, Managing Director, HDFC Ltd said: “The reasons for the exhibition now is home buying process can be an onerous task for NRIs since it involves a meticulous planning right from searching for the property till choosing the best option based on one’s financial parameters. Given this and the inherent need to invest in a property back home, India Homes Fair provides a platform to its customers through enabling them to evaluate from a wide variety of properties available and choose the best home for themselves back in India. NRIs have always shown interest in the India housing market and are continuing to show given stability in property prices & softening of interest rates.

We are happy to present all the participating developers showcasing their projects and we endeavour that for our customers to interact directly with senior representatives from the developers on their property-related queries, avail home loan services and receive professional guidance on legal and technical documentation from the HDFC counsellors, all under one roof.”

There are two aspects of home buying – Property Search and Home Loans. It may make sense to go with a home loan company, which can help tackle both aspects right from the selection of the property to loan processing.

HDFC is quick to recognise the market pulse and thereby set higher benchmarks of service delivery on a continuous basis. Customer satisfaction has always been at the core of all HDFC offerings. With a view to maximise customer convenience, HDFC through its team of specialised counsellors, is providing its customers personalized home loan counselling, legal and technical advice relating to property related documentation and a full range of home loan options and flexible repayment options tailor made to suit their requirement.
